Lesson sequence & procedures
Extension:As an optional extension to this Learning Activity, students will create a short video or screencast recapping the content of their Family Disaster Plan. Such a student created resource would be available in-house (as opposed to being published online) to provide support for future 7thgrade science students engaged in the Maps of Disaster science unit. Student created projects could also be utilized during National Preparedness Month https://www.ready.gov/september
