About this resource
Students will be thinking creatively to solve this problem. There will be no way to test their solution, but they can discuss in groups the different ideas they came up with. Students may think of practical answers but are also encouraged to be imaginative (especially for younger students). Students may be given visuals to help show them distance between stories of various buildings. They can brainstorm ideas on their own and later discuss in groups. Following discussion students can modify their ideas and agree on a few possible solutions.
Modifications for All Learners: Verbal and written directions should be given. Developing a prototype of one of their ideas may challenge students further.
